Parent & Tot General Information

michelam%ef%80%85elie1This program is designed to introduce the toddler to the joy of movement through organized play, songs, games and circuits. Classes are held in both sections of the gym.

Each child will experience all pieces of gymnastics equipment in a FUN and stimulating environment. Each day will be a new discovery; the coach will lead the children (and their care-givers) through an array of different gymnastics circuits, designed to safely introduce various movement patterns such as swinging, bouncing, rolling, jumping and climbing….all in a fun setting !

NOTE: There is a limit of only one (1) care-giver per child (two for twins) allowed on the gym floor for this class.

These classes are co-ed.

Each class lasts 45-minutes, once per week. This is usually the first class that a child will participate in once out of Babynastics, however, prior gymnastics experience is not required to be part of this class.

Each class usually consists of a warm-up game and a light stretch. Then, the children usually rotate through the various circuits each 10-15 minutes.

Each child will experience all pieces of gymnastics equipment in a FUN and stimulating environment.

NOTE: There is a limit of only one (1) care-giver per child (two for twins) allowed on the gym floor for this class.

This class is co-ed.

Each class lasts one (1) hour, once per week. Prior gymnastics experience is not required to be part of this class.

This program is designed to allow the transition from dependence to independence for children ages 3 – 4.

This class is NOT recommended for children who have never taken gymnastics before. This program requires the participation of one (1) care-giver (two care-givers for twins). It will allow the toddler to discover the joy of movement, through organized play, songs, games and circuits, with parent assistance only when needed. Classes are held in both sections of the gym.

This class is in preparation for the un-parented pre-school classes that we offer.

Each class usually consists of a warm-up game and a light stretch. Then, the children usually rotate through the various circuits each 15 minutes.

Each child will experience all pieces of gymnastics equipment in a FUN and stimulating environment.

Alberta Wide Insurance Sanctioned Directive: No (siblings) Babies in slings/ carseats

Moving forward, Champions will be enforcing this new insurance directive for the safety & liability of all participants.

Our Solution :
If you have no other viable option than to bring your baby along with you to a Parented Class, then you can pay $25 to purchase ONLY the AGF insurance to cover the baby. (this is NOT a Champions Gymnastics Membership) You will receive a special AGF insurance card that you will have to show to your coach to prove that the baby is insured.
